baldurs gate 2 jaheira leaves party
Luckily there's mods that make Shapeshifter into a usable class. The curse will cause Jaheira to waste away. It seems like throughout the game especially the end game jaheira is a weak party member compared to others. Unless, of course, you have both the Harper and Zhent duo in your party, in which case they'll probably duke it out long before then. Maybe his personal quest rectifies that, but why should I waste a slot on him in my party? I didn't expect such a technical breakdown when clicking on the thread, but it sure brought a smile to my face to read. This icon indicates content from the Throne of Bhaal campaign of the Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition. It takes 1.5 million exp for a level 1 druid to reach level 14 and another 1.5 million to reach level 15. So this is the canon party for the first game in the seires, and pretty much set in stone. Well, without running any number and just going from memory ;) I'd say Montaron is the worst companion in BG1. Interesting stuff. just because high level thieves bring very little to the table that a multi/dual classed one does. Cernd will be trivializing whole encounters with insect swarms while Jaheira is still hitting people with a stick. Wow, that sure is an insane amount of effort put into the OP! By not helping him, you make him fail as a warrior, its understandable that he does not want to linger. How do you think the Dragonspear NPC’s fare? Khalid can be kept along, it's not that hard to send Jaheira on a suicide mission and keep Khalid by himself. I have no experience with Cernd but I assume he's no better than ol gal. Start a new thread to share your experiences with like-minded people. (The Jaheira romance is occasionally an exception.) In this guide, you'll read where you can find them, how good they are, what quests are related to them, and how they will react to the other characters, including you. 26 days, 16 hours, 11 minutes, 54 seconds. Also how did you feel about Dragonspear NPC’s if you played it? I like Keldorn but I usually dont include him in my party over Minsc or Korgan depending on my party alignment. Its his duty is to protect his witch. may have several opportunities through dialogue to 'make the most' of the situation. Once I can equip Viconia with a better shield (higher strength is required) she usually turns into a character that's decent in defending herself, though she will usually die first regardless if she gets mobbed. Jaheira doesn't gain exp slower than other party members. Id like to change original portraits of characters with more beutifull ones but cant find the way to make it. Without them I wouldn't bother with those weapon types in general aside from a dual wielding Minsc and even then Misc is usually better off using a 2h weapon. There are several great mod npcs out there, but stay the fuck away from Chloe, Saerileth and (sadly) Solaufein. I personally loved Voghlin and in general another bard seemed like a good idea for BG2 which is a bit lacking(if they every bring them over). BG2 just has too much level bloat and I don't think 2nd edition was particularly built with epic levels in mind. Tried to play an Assassin and aside from the initial burst damage the character is pretty weak, even with strong stats. It would be better than fake science ones that actually take place all over the world. Jaheira, Aerie then Yoshimo, Nalia, or Jan until they were dumped/killed and replaced with Imoen, and the final spot changed up a lot. Save Jaheira from Baron Ployer's Curse; The Slums; 52750 ex. Would it be worth it to make the main character a druid in some fashion? Charisma has value technically as you can set any character as party leader and get store discounts, but since there's a 18 CHR ring it's essentially irrelevant. And I don't worry about armour all that much when I've got Iron Skins. I love it! The canon party for Baldur's Gate 2 … I always liked Viconia and honestly saw nothing wrong with fighting alongside Anomen. No matter what you say to Jaheira, she'll leave your party. I can't argue in too much detail because its been a while, but I remember finding shapeshifter and Cernd useful. Cernd is better at this than Jaheira, because his casting abilities level up quicker. Baldur's Gate II Character Guide A complete list of the fascinating cast of characters that can join you on your adventures in Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal. I also like both Vicky and Ano at once to put all the maces/morning stars/flails to good use since good ones drop often and are numerous throughout the game. One thing I noticed in the late game is the need for more fighter type characters which I ingeniously designed Jan to use Carsomyr and Tenser's Transformation to tank. This thread is hilarious, such a detailed analysis of such a minor aspect of such an old game. So far Jan's build has been a complete beast. If you accept a seventh NPC, Baldurs Gate 2 will simply ask you to remove one of the current ones to make room. I can't Jaheira, so he's pretty much the only druid I usually use. I had Minsc and Serevok on the same team, as well as Jan. Sooo...based on your learned stance who would you nail down as the worst in Baldur’s Gate? Jaheira is a decent character who has multiple quests regardless of whether or not you're romancing her. I played through BG2 multiple times and I don't even remember Cernd so I guess I agree with you OP. I really don’t like Jaheira’s banter from my BG1 playthroughs, and I’m not keen to try Cernd either. From a power perspective, Jaheira has a much better class choice dualing into Fighter than Cernd. Keep your party full for maximum character interactions and subplots. Don't remove characters you're romancing, as it kills the romance and you won't be able to restart it. We want to create an inspiring environment for our members and have defined a set of guidelines. This is a great and underappreciated post, OP. I always had Jaheira. ; Speak to Bernard in the Copper Coronet in the Slums. He will tell Jaheira that Ployer killed Belgrade, a fellow Harper. Imoen was supposed to turn into the ravager and go on a murder spree. What you're experiencing is the giant exp requirement for a druid to move from level 14 to 15. I also heard that Anomen was a weak choice. She has good fighting stats and doesn't compete much with anyone for stat-enhancing gear, though her wisdom is a bit low for a druid. End game comparisons are all well and good, but that's not what you are using for the vast majority of your time. Another Druid kit would have been better. Make sure you're registered to vote and know all your options to vote safely! I’ve never heard quite a definitive disregard in that game for a character but a few have always popped up as bit lackluster, Eldoth, Faldorn even Brawnen one of my old favourites doesn’t look that popular in some character guides. I've been told that Viconia is a better cleric, and I can kind of see why since she is not a dual/multi class, but her spells seems... the same as Jaheira so far. She's stuck with druid weapons and doesn't have much room for variety, however they're usually not weapons a lot of party members have proficiencies in. Khalid and Jaheira, as well as Montaron and Xar want to go to Nashkel. Timer is VERY generous. Baldurs gate 2 character portraits. Great OP. All rights reserved. Jaheira will be a level 20 fighter by the time she reaches level 15 druid. My party was usually Me, Minsc.
