There isn't much "beach" at Bells, it is mainly a beautiful rocky cliff, with rolling farmland to the north, and the nearby Torquay, home to Rip Curl and Quiksilver. I was mindful of dairy cows as they ambled unaided off to the dairy. These giant rock stacks soar from the swirling waters of the Southern Ocean and are a central feature of the spectacular Port Campbell National Park that extends from Princetown to Peterborough. Add mild weather, the cafe culture and fascinating shops, and it's no wonder Lorne is one of the region's most popular holiday destination. From Fish Creek the trail climbs for 6km to Hoddle Summit, named after Victoria’s first Surveyor-General, Robert Hoddle. The 3 new Koonwarra bridge we brilliant. A good intro for beginners too, as its mostly flat, with plenty of towns to stop at along the way. Completed the entire length of this trail and have only positive comments to add.
