Lealt Falls, Skye These impressive falls are close to the Portree Staffin road. A few kilometers north you will find another amazing betetr known, waterfall called Mealt falls (Kilt Rock Waterfall). A short and easy walk (towards the see) leads to the first viewpoint where you can look into the depths of the gorge and see the Lealt waterfall finding its way (in two steps) down the gorge and ends 90 meters lower. Excellent cantilever type viewpoint over the falls! to Loch Valeraine where historically Diatomite was mined which looked interesting though we did not have time to do. But the views were beautiful!
