My husband and I love coming here to play basketball.They have a swing set for kids, jungle gym, tennis courts, baseball field, bathrooms, snack shack, and plenty of area to take a nice walk in the park.The sun always hits the basketball courts, so we tend to come here later in the evening to avoid it. During one visit, they were doing "Shakespeare in the Park", which I'm guessing is free because we were able to take a seat and watch for half an hour.
Shadier, as in "lots of trees with thick, wide brush to shield the sun" shady, not as in "tweakers with dirty backpacks on bikes, guy in Members Only jacket watching kids play" shady. They have it all.
