We had an hour to kill and loved these gardens for a peaceful walk with lots of surprises. Undoubtedly one of the best private gardens we have seen in Australia, certainly recommend to take the time and visit. On Mothers Day we visited these gardens with my wife, son, and daughter-in-law as they enjoyed this activity last year.The gardens in this area are a very popular activity so parking is difficult to find. Visitors are expected to park on the street close to the gardens, or park at the bottom of Mount Macedon and take a free shuttle bus which stops at the gardens.Fortunately I visited in the early morning and was able to find parking near the gardens easily, however by midday street parking was a mess.

A great garden to visit, plan to visit 2 hours plus to see all, Noticed on other reviews parking a problem, the design of the garden does not allow inside parking, we went during the week and had no problem, just a short walk to the main gates.
