I don’t think so. this is my first comment,p.p.s love the site, The second picture that a few people say they don’t ‘get’ is an interpretation of one of Eschers finest plays on perspective and is titled ‘Belvadere’ (the 2nd story of the building has its long side running left to right but the 1st floor runs front to back…)The illusion is clearer in Eschers drawing but still fantastic to see in Lego, I don’t get wht the last one is impossible?

The legso don’t really connect. The imagea are obviously photoshopped (or made in a shape that from one point of view appear as we see), because “impossible object illusions” are… well… impossible to create in real life, but they are very nice. The first thing Dr. Smit is erasing are the small outside triangles, then he erased the lines necessary to create the final image to figure out which lines these are just compare your drawing to the final image! They are amazing. i used the lego dice piece for the core of the build and then used 2x4s for the six sides of it, placing them just right so that it would look like the Impossible Triangle.
I liked LEGO very much back being a kid, and have spent hours creating all sorts of incredible structures. This time lets use a scissors and cut right down the middle of our Mobius strip.

This is what it is going to look like when you are all done…..(five seconds) The first thing you have to do is draw a large equilateral triangle (a triangle with all three sides the same length); Next draw small equilateral triangles at each corner; Now join these equilateral triangles with lines that are parallel to the first triangle you drew; Do you see the innermost triangle? Draw an impossible triangle by drawing an equilateral triangle and chopping off its corners. simple realy, if u moved the camera angle slightly u could see how it was done, although it was still pretty cool, actualy i would like to see them from a diferent angle.

Anyone out there whome can explane it to me? bufar: Those are roofpieces, and are possible to make. And that is what should happen on a single surface object! They’re made with a combination of legos and camera magic because, of course, you can’t actually make these structures in real life.
Draw a smaller equilateral triangle in the middle of that hexagon. - our brains can be fooled to perceive things that do not exist in reality- all of us have blind spots that our brains have to constantly take into account otherwise we would see black spots all the time!- a mobius strip is not an illusion, it is a single sided surface and therefore has some unusual properties

But also didn’t think about creating optical illusion! First you will need a 10 stud and an 8 stud Lego, four two stud Lego’s and some tape and some sort of weight so your penrose triangle will not fall over when completed.
